The Italian Experience: Italy ITAL 308
During May Term

A 3-week Italian immersion experience. The course meets for the first week on CWRU’s campus and in Italy during the second and third weeks. There are visits to Rome, Florence, Urbino, Venice, and other locations.
Collaborate with Italian students and faculty to advance in your Italian language and culture study. Improve your speaking, comprehension, reading, and writing. Visits to exhibits and cultural events are included. Counts as a CAS Global & Cultural Diversity course.
For details contact the faculty program director, who has taught courses in Italian at Case Western Reserve University since 1989. Previously, she was employed at multi-national corporations, preparing executives with language and culture orientation for relocations.
Prerequisite Requirements: CWRU Intermediate level of Italian OR permission of instructor. Students should have a developing level of Italian proficiency with desire for improvement.
Estimated Cost: TBA includes lodging, ground transportation, and planned activities.
