On February 24, 2024, CWRU students and faculty experienced a time of retro-themed South Korean culture! This event centered around the South Korean hit Korean drama “Reply 1988” in which various nostalgic foods, music, decoration, and programs were showcased. Students enjoyed performances that were focused on 2015 and prior South Korean music in which many students and cultural groups like Klover, performed their hard-work. In addition, retro-Korean props were used throughout the event where students had the opportunity to take pictures and promote Korean culture with their friends! All proceeds, together with funds raised from other KASA events (totaling $2,495), were donated to KASF, a non-profit, volunteer-run organization with a mission of awarding scholarships to Korean American students seeking higher education.
