Kosuke Ogaki obtained his B.A. in Japanese history and M.A. in Linguistic Science at Kwansei Gakuin University, Japan. In 2018, he also obtained a MEd., focusing on English for Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL). After teaching for two years as a T.A. at Auburn University, Alabama and for three years as a lecturer at the University of Iowa, he joined CWRU in 2021. Ogaki-sensei’s research interests are Cognitive linguistics, Contrastive Linguistics between English and Japanese, and how to apply this knowledge into classroom instruction.
