About

Yukie Miura received her B.A. in British and American Studies at Nagoya University of Foreign Studies in Japan. After participating in the ALLEX Teaching Associate Program in 2018, she worked as an adjunct instructor at Wesleyan College, Georgia for two years. While there, she organized the Japanese program and also completed her B.A. in Communication. She obtained her M.A. in Japanese pedagogy at Purdue University and taught Japanese as a T.A. for two years before joining CWRU. Her research interests include Japanese pedagogy, Japanese linguistics, gender and language, and Japanese literature.
