The Ohio German Studies Workshop is normally held each year in Columbus, Ohio and draws college and university faculty from all across the state. In 2020, it was held remotely and made remote delivery a main theme. Margaretmary Daley presented on “Zoom in Small Enrollment Courses” and had 5 tips for successful zoom teaching as part of “Pedagogical and Departmental Interventions in Times of COVID19 and Racial Injustices.” Other panelists spoke on faculty cuts (U of Akron) and incorporating the BLM movement into the language classroom.
