US Representative to Slow Food International Visits CWRU

Please join a visit with Bilal Sarwari, who is currently the US Representative to Slow Food International, on Friday, November 21. He came to CWRU last year while he was the interim director of Slow Food USA. There will be a talk 1-2 pm in the Bellflower Lounge in Thwing Center, free and open to all. Then, he will visit CWRU’s Squire Valleevue Farm to mingle with students & attendees, and tour with the staff there, also free and open to all. Registration is available on CampusGroups. A shuttle will be provided to transport students from the campus to the farm. The Eirik Borve Fund for Foreign Language Instruction is supporting this event, co-sponsored by the DMLL program in Italian, the recognized campus student organization Slow Food on Campus, and CWRU’s Squire Valleevue Farm.
